Which animal would you like to be?
Which one scares you?
Which one do you find disgusting?
Which animal do you meet again and again?
The exhibition displays the outcome of a creative workshop recently led by Berlin-based artist Denise Reytan at UdK Berlin where the students investigated what is left of the relationship between humans and the animal kingdom, as well as the process of transformation, experimenting and moulding the matter, eventually giving shape to wearable and sculptural zoomorphic masks.
As part of the semester project „Spaces of the Animals“ by UdK Berlin, Class for Spatial and Exhibition Design, Prof. Gabi Schillig, Institute for Transmedia Design the final works were shown during the UdK tour of the Mediahaus.
This exhibition is curated by Wodkasoda Studio (Giancarlo Genovese & Laura Leo) in collaboration with Karin Kruse and the support of Kiosque Berlin Agentur.
